ABOUT TIR CAM WILD HORSE SANCTUARY

Welcome to Tir Caim Wild Horse Sanctuary!

We offer safe haven & a forever home to all wild horses in need.  On arrival horses are assessed for any health requirements, potential pregnancy, wormed, de-liced & allowed the opportunity to safely develop trust in their human guardians.

Horses are allowed to live in an open herd environment on 140 acres of pasture & bushland with daily hay feeds & human interaction (basic handling/halter & lead training in case of emergency requiring vet treatment).

Tir Caim is a forever home.

Whilst there is the potential for future training of some willing horses, the intention for the majority is to live their lives the way they should have in the Park.
