Welcome to Tir Caim Wild Horse Sanctuary!
We offer safe haven & a forever home to wild horses in need. On arrival horses are assessed for any health requirements, potential pregnancy, wormed, de-loused & allowed the opportunity to safely develop trust in their human guardians.
Horses are allowed to live in an open herd environment on 140 acres of pasture & bushland with daily hay feeds & human interaction (basic handling/halter & lead training in case of emergency requiring vet treatment).
Tir Caim is a forever home. Whilst there is the potential for future training of some willing horses, the intention for the majority is to live their lives the way they should have in the Park.

The Tir Caim Wild Horse Sanctuary is one of the largest private horse sanctuaries in Australia. Located in NSW - it is a home for a variety of rescued animals including our beloved Brumbies (Australian Wild Horses).
Here we care for the wild and untamed - those that are pure at heart and free.
Our aim is to hold space for these beautiful creatures, to enjoy their natural behaviours without too much human interference - in as peaceful an environment as can be provided,
We have a variety of farm animals, from rescued cats and farm dogs, to the more pigletty friend variety.
We are a self funded sanctuary, completely privately run and not affiliated with any other group or organisation.
For that reason we wholly appreciate any and all support given to keep our show on the road - and to help feed the hungry hoards of Norse Horses and their friends.
